
Momentus Technologies Video Brand Transformation
In 2023, Momentus Technologies underwent a major brand transformation from Ungerboeck Technologies. As part of this rebranding, they updated their logo, visual assets, and voice. However, their video content strategy remained stuck, with significant room for improvement.
Problem:
Content Overload: Their existing video content, especially on LinkedIn, was too long and relied heavily on still graphics. This overwhelmed viewers and caused them to lose interest.
Product Videos: While product videos answered customer questions, they were excessively long, more suitable for later stages in the sales funnel. These videos starred sales reps who lacked training in front of the camera, leading to less engaging and professional content.
Missed Opportunity: Despite having high-quality content, it wasn’t optimized for video performance, resulting in poor audience engagement and conversions.
Solution:
To address these issues, I implemented a video content strategy aligned with Momentus Technologies' new brand guidelines:
Standardized Title Screen: I created a clean, modern, and professional title screen, reflecting the updated branding and providing a consistent look across all videos.
Video Content Revamp: I streamlined their existing demos, focusing on delivering only the most crucial information. Lengthy videos were cut down to shorter, more engaging segments, ensuring viewers could easily digest key points.
Simplified Demos: In addition to reworking the current content, I developed entirely new, simplified demos designed to attract and engage prospects earlier in the buyer's journey. These videos focused on pain points and solutions, directly addressing the needs of potential customers.
Revised Social Media Strategy: I updated the guidelines for social media video posts, recommending shorter, punchier videos rather than long-form content. This helped optimize content for LinkedIn, encouraging higher engagement rates.
